The only mildly challenging part of class is some of the information on particles and light waves, but if you study a little you will be fine. i took richburg then switched to levy and he was so much better. Quizzes every week but very easy. DOesn't teach anything. Dr. Barnes is the best professor I have had yet at UGA. Clemson University | Rate My Professors So really hard to socialize. The homework lines up perfectly with the lectures so you always have time to ask questions if you don't understand. Very sweet caring guy. It's a lot so manage your time. Very easy class. He treats you like an adult and a real human being and will teach you real life experiences. There are 4 total exams. He is very understanding and cares about the class/his students. I was in the video game section, so all I had to do was play a game for 2-3 hours a week. This was an extremely easy class and I highly recommend Professor Recendes. Brad Levy is a professor in the Mathematics department at Cincinnati State - see what their students are saying about them or leave a rating yourself. / 5. Professor Biglow was a great teacher. Very, very hard grader. Security is always around. Not reporting doesn't make them safer, rapes & assaults have steadily increased w/a lack of consequence. He genuinely cares about CS and his students and teaches the material in an enjoyable way. For the most part, faculty is decent, but aren't very approachable. Take him!! A-no-way prof. / 5. Useful and productive office hours. i emailed her at 12:00 am once and she answered within 5 minutes. A school with an administration that cares nothing for the majority of its students. You can tell that he cares about what he is talking about, and that shows in his lectures. It is somewhat manageable given its online and professor permits using any sources but still too difficult. professor charlton has been so accommodating to me and I have had to reschedule two tests! The in-game quizzes were so difficult, and the exams were even worse. Internships are hard to find if you're not a business major. I got a B on my own accord. This is the most mid professor. I did a hybrid section, so there was plenty of reading. He is extremely clear on what he expects from his students and even gives you day by day outline for projects to help you manage your time. Peoria is very boring with a crime issue. The very best professor I have ever had. This was my first semester at Cleveland State, and I was nervous as to what to expect, but Hilliard made the class feel comfortable, joked with us, and always clarified what his expectations were for the class and homework. The BEST prof I've ever had. I'd like to look up a professor by name. cares only for his ego. CSCI1302 is not an easy class whatsoever but Dr. Barnes will make sure that you do well in this class. Administration is a money scheme. I think it's a fine school to attend but it does have some issues such as the wifi and the locations. If you try it will not be difficult to pass his class, and you will definitely learn something. Its a good college, with friendly and very helpful faculty. Extremely inconsiderate and only think about themselves. Also, if we really wanna learn something, then easy grades are not what we should be looking for. the exams for this class are in person and pretty difficult and specific however if you do well on projects it can outweigh a poor test grade. Points off for late work. This professor talks ALOT mostly going off topic. Very lenient with due dates he says "I do not believe in due dates". I hated 1301, and he makes me like CS! WHILE IN MY SENIOR YEAR. Math sucks here. Don't know why this doesn't focus on the actual education, which for CS is very bad. He also never responds to his emails. MFA (multi factor authentication) is pointless and ableist. I understand it's affordable but spend a little bit more if you want an actual education. This is not an academic school. He made me feel dumb. "However, these ratings are never taken seriously as an evaluation of effective teaching." -- PSA for students: If you want to provide suggestions for your professors, don't phrase it like an angry performance review; the angry rant + "failing grade" some people give professors is at best cathartic for them but not likely to help anyone (including future students). Great professors, so many opportunities, and so much to do around town if you have a car. There is a LOT of work for this class. Make sure to watch the lectures and take note. He specializes in teaching students with math anxiety and his approach made all the difference! He is my favorite professor at UGA so far. 3.8. There is free WiFi everywhere so thats good. Overall, my experience here was good. everything he taught was easily understood. Take Dr. Barnes and don't look back. I would recommend him to anyone who struggles with algebra. Mr. Levy is the only professor that does more than he is paid. The safety is a top priority of the school. If you have to take MGMT420 over Zoom, he's a good prof to have.
Make sure to read the readings he posts on eLC before class and you are chilling. This is the no-joke weed-out class they talk about. reaching out to the professor(s) unfortunately didn't help at all. Homework was easy, just a bunch of 250-word discussion boards. / 5. The Math/Science Department is a joke after precal or Chem II as there are bad teachers, but everything else is decent at BEST. Video game format is fun and wouldn't have it any other way. Of course there a few courses/professors that are the exception, but those are few and far between. He is hands down one of the best professors I've ever had. While online it is not easy breezy! Work load is high but thats the cost you pay for an MBA course completing within 15-18 months. Lots of work, but learn a lot. If you are majoring in something that requires a lot of chem and math, I definitely recommend going somewhere else first and transferring. The papers we were required to write and the exams were easy!
My only critique is I feel there was an excessive amount of reading. Additionally, there was math with no calculator. There were four tests which each had material that was not covered. Although the class is hard, he does a great job teaching the material and making sure everyone understands everything. Study guides provided half of the questions on the exam in the testing center, other half were in the game. It has gotten better each year. Lectures are interesting and prepare you for the projects. You can tell she cares about her students success. He breaks it down for you and if you still don't understand he will make sure that you do after class. I never missed a lecture just because of his amazing lectures. He says you need the book but I didn't use mine once, just make sure you go to every class. My first time in the pollock testing center was not a fun experience. Professor Biglow was enthusiastic about his subject, clear and concise with the material, and readily available outside of classes. Highly recommend! The amount of utility that you get from your Lone Star College Education is exactly equal to the amount of effort you put into it. You generally have quizzes and discussion posts every week. Assignments are extremely easy, do them and you will receive at least a 90% on them. You need to show up to pass the class. His course work was easy as long as you read the text, watch the videos and try. Professor Hilliard is a great professor. Professors are well selected. Teachers are great and they are always looking to improve their campus and the students overall experience. You can't go wrong! The whole class was a video game, which I just skipped through until the quiz section came up. There are least 2 long discussions a week with kinda heavy writing but very heavy reading. If you want a class that you don't have to think a lot about take this class. The art projects are not only easy but interesting, as well as the course material and video game. They can't even advise on how many hours to take so that you can keep receiving BAH. Sure. I was so happy there that over the breaks I just wanted to go back. Only thing is the lack of study resources for the tests which made it hard to study. Astro7N is the easiest course and highly recommended for anyone in need on interdomain courses. Mr. Levy was a great teacher, even when you have left his class he still helps you out in Math. Social life is confined to Greek life, and you'll be looked down upon for not joining. Overall the class is really interesting and he gives great feedback. He's the nicest and funniest too.

The exams were a bit tough, but if you go over her notes and the in-game quizzes you will be ok. If you are okay with writing a lot then this class is for you. I had a fantastic experience at Bradley. Barnes helps so much and genuinely wants you to see how cool cs is and how to learn how to do it. If you want to do well in this class you will need to put in a lot of effort. A-no-way is right! Almost all assignments feel useful, and although some of the material can be tough, it will feel very rewarding when it all comes together on projects. I love it here. Definitely take this class. It has over 500 clubs and the only thing stopping you from finding your niche group is your own laziness. Great number of available online classes. Brad is not only a great teacher but also a great person. Brad is the only professor I've had that sees you as a person before he sees you as a student. Four exams 60 questions each. Nothing like it. Location - beautiful, downtown Greenville close by, the lakes close by Professor Charlton keeps her course organized and shares her grading criteria clearly. Oh boy, who knew you could read so much in so short a time. Definitely avoid this class if you can. Great person and interesting too. He cares about his students learning algebra. No way way can get back the time I spent in this class. Every morning you go over homework and ask questions, he gives practice tests, and his lectures are very clear, and you can tell he loves teaching. The parking situation is TERRIBLE. Upper leadership knows what's happening and they do nothing on the students behalf. The entire semester is based on a group project, along with daily assignments that take no more than 20 minutes to complete. Excellent professor - truly cares - gives great feedback and is ALWAYS available via email. However, when you talk to individual students about the actual classes and labs, most people hate it. Dr. Hilliard was an overall respectable professor, although he was difficult to communicate with. I feel so much safer here than my previous school. Mr.Levy is an amazing instructor. If you actually think through it likely you will find it intuitive. I really loved this professor. Super chill and easy going. Mr. Levy is an outstanding professor and an incredible human being. Everyone was so helpful and help me out when i was lost when coming on campus for the first time.

You can get easy A is his class if you show up and do your homework. It is basically impossible to get an A in the course. He is a great teacher who is very passionate. I reccomend him. Dorms are alright. He wouldn't listen to anything I had to say and gave me a zero. Either way you are still getting your participation points through that. The only thing I've ran into is I never found a club that had similar interests, definitely not in the way I've had at university. Only good for human factors and optimization. Has been a major positive force in my life. He clearly cares about his students and understands that Computer Science is hard for beginners. Only 4 projects, 2 tests, and a video game with interesting lore. I never once had a professor that didnt work to help me succeed.

The study guides he gives are not very helpful and the exam questions are mostly from very hidden parts of the texts. It is an alright school if u are taking online and just want to get your waste classes out of the way because in person this school is dead. Before I took his class I hated math, after his class it was like it finally clicked. He expects a lot, but if you actually put effort in, it'll show in your grade. 11/10. He provides a lot of extra credit which really help raise your final grade. Food and the internet suck. Opportunities - one of the best alumni schools in the country Tests are open notes, HW assignments are tedious and have 1-3 per week. ASTRO7N is an extremely easy A. His lectures weren't very long, and he is very clear and interesting to listen to. Social life is mostly confined to Greek life, but the Greek community is more welcoming than you'd expect. He is good..You read 1 chapter a week and there is one quiz & discussion question based on that chapter. I did not engage with Dr. Charlton at all but when projects were graded, it was pretty grading criteria. They hold much weight on your final grade and are the only thing not online in the class. Teacher stands up at the front of the classroom, talks about "anthropology," doesn't provide interesting work or even meaningful work, half of the class is asleep or playing with there phone, others are doing other classes work. The chemistry and math classes in particular are much harder than other schools ranked about the same as Clemson. He grades essays based on Netlogos, which isn't hard at all. And I am confident to say it was the worst academic decision. It's not a party school, but if you're here to learn on the cheap, you will get your moneys worth out of it. I have no idea how I passed this class. Office hours were incredibly helpful and he was always willing to put in the effort so his students could succeed.
