The beaches are not white sand but we knew that before we got there. There are similar hotels available. Don't get tricked by the sign to some other restaurant - you won't miss Lola's - it's literally right on the beach. If you want a mix of adventure and relaxation on your trip this is certainly the relaxation part. -We did the horseback riding on the Hacienda, which was great, and just $50 pp.-We played golf on the Hacienda, which was a blast. Costa Rica's native beauty and Pura Vida spirit are evident in the resort's welcoming style and dcor. Costa Rica is world-wide known for its biodiversity, what a better place to immerse yourself in the wonders of nature. Off-site activities such as surfing lessons, zip lining, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, bird & monkey watching and ATV tours can be arranged on site. Surrounded by lush green jungle, this beautiful resort features an impressive infinity pool, outdoor whirlpools, six restaurants, biking trails, a kids' club with daily activities, and a spa offering both indoor and outdoor treatments. Having its private beach is an obvious advantage, to say the very least! This was the last part of our 8 day trip to Costa Rica. The service was Four Seasons quality, the resort property was beautiful, the pool was amazing, the food was very good, and our rooms were great! The property is amazing and is known by the Costa Ricans as the nicest hotel in Guanacaste. Palapa: For example, Tamarindo, Avenallas, Langosta, and Conchal, to name a few.
