Staff of Shalidor plus the enhancements mod to make it into a home is my favorite combo. Other enchanted "absorb health/magika" items do indeed tranfer the health to you. but it just infintly absorbs magica.

I had a Huge quest bug where the eye of magnus wouldnt close. even if i use it for 15 seconds on a bandit wich doesnt even use spells.
